After taking the cylinder out, cleaning it and putting it back in, the brakes bled fine. Now I have a few questions about the oil leak. I changed the oil about 1000 miles ago and it was almost at the top line in the viewing glass, now its at the bottom. The oil leak really isn't that bad though...I can see it comming from behind the cover on the rear of the top of the engine, and after riding for the day, there is some on the fins of the engine. It doesn't drip on the ground and I have degreased the engine and that is the only place i can fnd that the oil goes. Is that much oil in 1000 miles acceptable? I want to take the head cover off and see if it's that rubber plug,but I'm all thumbs when it comes to this kind of thing so I'm very hesitant...and my dealer has a 1 month wait they are so backed up. About how long would doing this take?
